Common Error: Infinite Row or Column Selection

Issue Explanation

When working with data, selecting an infinite row or column (e.g., Data!3:3 or Data!D) or the entire sheet is not allowed. This can cause errors and prevent the tool from functioning correctly.

Common Selections Causing Errors:

  • Infinite rows (e.g., Data!3:3)
  • Infinite columns (e.g., Data!D)
  • Entire sheet selection

Solution

To resolve this issue:

  • Select a Specific Range: Choose a finite range of cells instead of an entire row, column, or sheet.(e.g., Data!D3:E3, or  Data!D4:D10 or  Data!D10:E100)
  • Click Update Again: After selecting the appropriate range, click the update button to proceed.
